The recent positive Israel-Syria talks demonstrate that the Obama approach is the only viable strategy to neutralize the iranian influence in the region, find a positive outcome to the chaotic and explosive Lebanese situation, put the pressure on Hamas through direct talks with Mahmood Abbas and the Palestinian Authority.
It's a great chance for Israel to transform the region into a common economic and demographic space living in prosperity and peace. Divisions, humiliations, wars, terrorism will never ever be the answer.
Obama can put human dignity on the top of his agenda to counter the Bush's disastrous foreign policy. It's not sufficient to say that he is a good friend of Israel while his wars and decisions have made the situation even worse for the Israelis.
Yes Obama can bring peace in the Middle-East as well.
